Unique Taste

Lomondo's aged caramelised balsamic is probably one of the only truly commercial Australian made balsamics and is produced in Mudgee on the Central Tablelands of NSW.

It been aged in oak barrels for a minimum of three to five years. The red wine vinegar used in the development stage has been hand made from local Mudgee red wine grapes.

Caramelisation Process

Lomondo's balsamic is aged for a minimum of 3 years. This naturally caramelises the sugars in the balsamic and its then reduced it to increase the viscosity. No third party caramel is added to the product. It is an all natural caramelisation process from the the natural sugars of the grape must.

How to Use

Mixed with Lomondo's award winning extra virgin olive oil, this balsamic is perfect for salads or to enjoy with crusty bread. It can be put into sauces, can be poured "straight" over steak or other meats. Is great with salmon and it works perfectly with sautéed baby beetroots.
