A very Loch Lomond Easter Monday, March 26, 2018 @ 16:40:03

After a year off for renovations, our family is looking forward to enjoying Easter again at Loch Lomond. It is such a fun time of year in Mudgee and one of my favourites, when the town swells with both locals and visitors to the region across the four day weekend.

On Sunday it will be boots off and trainers on for our egg hunt in the grove. A long held Loch Lomond tradition, tactics required include speed, agility as well as a little push and shove. We gave up hiding the spoils in the branches many years ago after the realisation chocolate, foil and olives don't mix...just weeks out from a harvest.

In the lead up to Easter we all chat about what we will be eating (and drinking) over the weekend. Everyone brings something different to the table.

The Farm's new kitchen is a great space for us to cook and chat. I am looking forward to sharing some of our Lomondo inspired recipes beautifully created for you to enjoy over Easter.

We had a fun time sampling and photographing these. Keep your eyes peeled for more on these delicious recipes over the coming days. I know what I will be cooking this weekend! (Here's a sneaky shot of our team behind the scenes.)
